PILOTOS DE PAPEL
In 1972 Uruguay, under a rising military dictatorship, a teenage boy takes on an adult responsibility: driving his imprisoned brother’s wife and children to visit inside a military barrack.
As he navigates checkpoints, silence, and the looming threat of repression, he uses small gestures such as play, routine, and presence to shield his nephews from the darkness surrounding them.
